As you can see, the 4" tube on the left is shorter than the 5" inch tube on the right.
The 4" tube burns as nearly as high than the 5" tube on the right. However, the 5" tube burns about 5 seconds longer. The quality of the sparkler is similar. The 4" tube has a sturdier point and makes placing the sparkler easier in hard media such as the candle that I used above. I acutally had to take the point from the 4" tube and put it on the 5" tube to stick it in the candle.
